I’m Margo, a photographer and designer located in Portland, OR.

When I was 12, my dad handed me the family’s film camera (a Pentax Spotmatic) and showed me the basics. I’ve been evolving my craft ever since. As an artist, I seek to capture moments that tip over the edges of daily reality, and my work has always had a bent towards the surreal and dreamlike. I like to play with mediums and often use film over digital (color, black and white, instant, and sometimes expired). 

When I’m not at my desk, I’m most often in motion: running, cycling, backpacking, traveling, wandering — and documenting those experiences along the way, often in the American West.
