I grew up in the Midwest and was entranced the first time I saw the mountains in Oregon. Over the past 10 years, I’ve run, hiked, backpacked, cycled, skiied, and even bikepacked through the landscapes of the West (and, most often, the Pacific Northwest). A few years ago I started bringing film cameras with me on these adventures, and these are some of my favorite photos. 

Shot mostly on a Pentax K1000 and more recently an Olympus XA (the ultimate backpacking camera), with a few on a Fujica GS645. Mostly Portra 400 with some 800 mixed in.
